September 15, 2003
Chairman Mann called the meeting to order at 4:07 p.m.

Mr. Mann presented the following DDA meeting dates for 2004, all at 4:00 p.m.

IV. Minutes of the August 11, 2003, Meeting
Moved by Ms. Hovey, supported by Mr. Bohlander, to approve the minutes of the meeting of August 11, 2003, as submitted. Ayes all, with Mrs. Karell abstaining because she was not present at the meeting.

V. New Business
A. Update on the Ann Arbor Road Streetscape Project,
Haggerty
to Eckles
(TEA-21 Grant) – Meeting with MDOT
held 8/26/03
Mr. Croad reviewed matters that transpired at the meeting with MDOT. He said
grant rules were established. They hoped to be able to ask for bids in March
with plantings in spring 2004. If not possible for that time frame, plantings
would wait until spring 2005 rather than a less successful fall 2004 planting
season.
B. Review of Streetscape Elements
Mr. Croad presented drawings of possible lighting, gateway signs, and
identification structures.
VII. Public Comment – N/A.
Mr. Anulewicz agreed to check further into Mrs. Karell’s questions regarding bills from McKenna Associates.
VIII. Adjournment
Moved by Mr. Bohlander, supported by Mr. Cook, to adjourn the meeting. Ayes
all.
Mr. Mann adjourned the meeting at 4:55 p.m.
