Downtown Development Authority Board Minutes
February 25, 2002

Vice-Chairman Kolb called the meeting to order at 5:04 p.m.

Tom Bohlander in at 5:20 p.m

MEMBERS ABSENT:
Steven Mann (Excused)

ALSO PRESENT:
Al McFadyen, McKenna Associates
James Anulewicz , Director of Public Services
Alice Geletzke, Recording Secretary

Representative John Stewart stopped in to relay the offer of assistance from the MDEC to the Authority.

Moved by Mrs. Karell, seconded by Mr. Grutza to approve the minutes of the Organizational Meeting of the Downtown Development Authority held Tuesday, February 19, 2001, as presented. Ayes all.

The meeting date for the April will be April 15, 4 p.m., rather than April 8.

OLD BUSINESS

Bylaw adoption

Moved by Mr. Cook, supported by Ms. Hovey, to approve the bylaws as written, pending clarification of the definition of the terms "Board" and "Authority." Ayes, all.

NEW BUSINESS

Proposed Schedule: TIF and Development Plan Adoption

DDA TIF and Development Plan

Mr. Al McFadyen of McKenna Associates presented copies and answered questions regarding the above items.

PUBLIC COMMENTS – There were none.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
