Sheldon Road Underpass Project

Information Update January 8, 2007

Wayne County officials have indicated to us that Sheldon Road at the CSX Railroad Tracks (from Farmer Street to just south of the ramps to
M-14) will close to all traffic on Tuesday, January 9, 2007. This will affect all north and southbound traffic at the railroad crossing. The road closing is for the Sheldon Road Underpass Project and it is expected to remain closed for two years. During the road closure, an access lane will be maintained to Plymouth Oaks Boulevard from the north.

North and South Sheldon Road traffic which crosses the Railroad Tracks should make alternate routing plans effective Tuesday, January 9, 2007. The official detour route and other important information are provided on our website.
